How to wash lash extensions correctly

Washing lash extensions takes less than two minutes once you know the steps. The key is to be gentle and thorough.

What you need

  • A lash shampoo
  • A soft lash cleansing brush, or clean fingertips
  • Lukewarm water
  • A lint-free towel
  • A clean spoolie

Step by step

  1. Wet your lashes with lukewarm water.
  2. Apply a small amount of foam to your brush or fingertips.
  3. Cleanse gently. With your eyes closed, sweep the foam along the lash line and through the lashes with soft downward strokes for about 30 to 60 seconds.
  4. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water until no foam remains.
  5. Dry and brush. Pat the area with a lint-free towel or let your lashes air dry, then brush them into place with a clean spoolie.

Tips

  • Keep your eyes closed while cleansing and rinsing.
  • Avoid rubbing or pulling on your lashes.
  • Use daily or every other day, especially after makeup, sweating or swimming.

For external use only. Avoid direct contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse well with water. Stop use if irritation occurs.
